“The gold standard of concierge counseling — because your care should never feel like a waiting room.”
“The gold standard of concierge counseling — because your care should never feel like a waiting room.”
The Compass Care Model is how KPCC finds true north for every person who walks through our door — literally and figuratively. It’s the framework behind every session, every workshop, and every dollar of Client Sponsorship Fund support.
Just like an actual compass, our care points in four directions — and every one of them is essential to whole-person wellness.
| Direction | Dimension | What It Means | Where It Lives at KPCC |
| True North | Spirit — Faith & Meaning-Making | Helping people find purpose, hope, and a spiritual anchor, in whatever tradition (or none) they bring. | Faith-integrated counseling options, pastoral partnerships, meaning-centered therapy conversations. |
| East | Mind — Emotional & Mental Wellness | Traditional clinical care for anxiety, depression, trauma, and the full range of mental health needs. | Individual counseling, trauma-informed care, EMDR, adolescent counseling. |
| West | Body — Physical & Somatic Wellness | Recognizing that the body carries what the mind is working through. | Somatic-informed approaches, referral coordination with physical health providers. |
| True South | Integration — Relational & Social Health | Repairing and strengthening the relationships people live inside of every day. | Couples counseling, family counseling, marriage retreats, pre-marital counseling. |

The Eight Bearings
If the Four Cardinal Dimensions are where we’re headed, the Eight Bearings are how we get there. Every interaction at KPCC is oriented by these values, in this order:
Compassion
Meeting every person’s pain without judgment, first.
Acceptance
Welcoming people exactly as they are, not as we wish they were.
Inclusion
Making room at the table for every background, belief, and identity.
Respect
Treating every client as the expert on their own life.
Community
Healing happens in relationship — never in isolation.
Safety
A space where it’s safe to say the hard thing out loud.
Faith
Honoring the role faith plays in healing, for those who carry one.
Hospitality
The concierge instinct — care that feels like welcome, not intake paperwork.
The Pathway to Wellness
Every person’s path through KPCC looks a little different, but it tends to move through the same waypoints — the exact way-finding language the Brand Guide uses for client care, staff onboarding, and professional development alike:
- Trailhead — The first call. The decision to reach out.
- Waypoint 1 (Assessment) — Intake and matching with the right counselor.
- Waypoint 2 (Care Planning) — Early sessions, building trust and a plan.
- The Path (Active Care) — The ongoing work of therapy itself.
- Landmark (Progress & Reflection) — A breakthrough, a milestone, a moment of clarity.
- Summit (Integration & Wellbeing) — Not “finished,” but equipped — able to carry what you’ve learned forward on your own.
