“Whether you find yourself needing hope in a relationship, help with anxiety or depression, or healing from deep wounds, we can get through this together,” Sarah says. “I am passionate about being a fellow traveler on this road called life with you.”
She brings together EMDR, somatic work, and parts work to create a safe container for exploring how the past shapes the present. As a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, she works with couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, faith concerns, LGBTQ+ concerns, life transitions, and healing from abuse.
Sarah has a particular calling toward survivors of relationship difficulties and abuse — “their stories deserve to be seen and heard in a safe space.” Her goal with every client is simple: “to get to know you and see how your world works. I’m curious about what’s going on for you, the good and bad and in between. I believe you’ve worked really hard already to get where you are, and I want to hear how you’ve made it here.”
She enjoys collaborating with clients around faith as a resource, and helping them work through doubts toward a better understanding of themselves and their beliefs. “We, as therapists, are people too,” she says. “The best therapy places help you to take a breath, maybe for the first time in a long time.”
